Community Bake Sale Fundraiser
WHO ARE WE HELPING?
Join us for a special community event dedicated to supporting one of our own, where small acts of kindness “Bake” a big difference!
For over two decades, this remarkable woman has shown us the power of caring and community through Bake Sales. Gaby has devoted much of her time to caring for others, acting as a caregiver to our children and a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to the elderly. She has also organized and included the neighbourhood children in more than 30 successful fundraising efforts, creating a strong sense of unity and support within our community and beyond.
Today, Gaby and her husband are facing a difficult time. Her husband, also a PSW, was recently injured in a car accident as a pedestrian at Kingston Rd/Main and faces a long road to recovery. Unable to fully work during this recovery time, they now find themselves in need of support. The same kind of support they have always given to others. Now it’s time for us to help her family!
Inspired by the lessons of compassion and action she’s taught us, along with the importance of donating time and energy to help others, the children and community of The Beaches are stepping up to host the ‘Baking a Difference‘ fundraiser.

Time: 10am – 1pm
Location: Beaches Rec Centre, 6 Williamson Rd.
Join us by purchasing homemade baked goods or finding treasures at our accompanying new or used items market sale. All proceeds will directly support their recovery and help offset lost income during this difficult time.

This bake sale is about more than just treats; it embodies a community coming together to reciprocate the care and support she has generously provided to many others throughout the years. It’s our turn to show that her lessons of caring and community spirit have truly taken root.

100% of funds raised through the bake sale and monetary donations will be used to directly support the family and therefore tax receipts will not be issued.
